USS UNVEILS ITS NEW SPORTS BRAND — AGAINST ODDS

Universal Sports Sdn Bhd (USS) is proud to announce the launch of its newest sports brand, Against Odds (AO) — An apparel brand built to represent resilience, belief, and the courage to compete under pressure.

Marking its first major milestone, Against Odds has proudly sponsored Malaysia’s para athletes competing in the 13th ASEAN Para Games, reaffirming the brand’s commitment to inclusivity, excellence, and athletes who continue to rise beyond expectations.



AO at the National Flag-Off Ceremony

Against Odds officially made its public debut at the Majlis Penyerahan Jalur Gemilang Kontinjen Malaysia ke Temasya Sukan SEA ke-33 dan Sukan Para ASEAN ke-13, held on 4 December 2025 at the National Sports Council (MSN), Bukit Jalil.

The ceremony was officiated by YB Hannah Yeoh, Minister of Youth and Sports, who presented the Jalur Gemilang to Malaysia’s national contingents.

The 13th ASEAN Para Games will take place in Korat, Thailand, from 20 to 26 January 2026, with Malaysia represented by 236 para athletes across multiple sporting disciplines.

Against Odds’ presence at the flag-off event symbolised more than sponsorship — it reflected national pride, unity, and unwavering belief in athletes who compete against the odds.



Moving Forward

A defining milestone in Against Odds’ journey is its collaboration with the Paralympic movement extending through LA 2028, reinforcing its long-term commitment to resilience and elite excellence. Building on this momentum, the brand has officially confirmed its sponsorship of the Malaysia Track Team, marking a strategic expansion into national-level athletics and a continued belief in winning where others doubt.



With its first official sponsorship at the 13th ASEAN Para Games, Against Odds begins its journey alongside athletes who embody perseverance and purpose.

As a new chapter under Universal Sports Sdn Bhd, Against Odds stands not just as a brand, but as a movement — built on belief, effort, and the courage to succeed when the odds are stacked high.
